Accessibility Statement
1. Our commitment
We want everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control or reduced-motion settings, to be able to use this website and get the information they need about our clinic.
2. The standard we work toward
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as our target. This website has not yet had an independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance.
3. What we have done
- Semantic page structure with a logical heading order and a "skip to content" link
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers
- Full keyboard access, including the service details dialogs, with visible focus indicators
- Text and controls designed for readable contrast, and touch targets at least 44 pixels tall
- Animation that stops when your device is set to reduce motion; the 3D illustration is decorative and never required to use the site
- Plain-text versions of our hours next to the visual hours chart
4. Known limitations
The 3D illustration on the home page is decorative and is not shown on touch screens or when reduced motion is on. If you find anything else that gets in your way, please tell us.
5. Tell us about a barrier
If any part of this website is difficult to use, or you need information from it in another format, call (321) 751-1414 or write to Eau Gallie Medical Center, 1403 Highland Avenue, Melbourne, FL 32935. We will get you the information another way and work to fix the problem.
If you need an accommodation at the clinic itself, please let our front desk know.
