2. Who we are
Eau Gallie Medical Center is a walk-in primary care and urgent care clinic in Melbourne, Florida. This policy is published by the clinic and applies to the website at eaumed.com.
3. What this policy covers
This policy covers information connected with visiting this website. It does not cover the health information the clinic keeps about you as a patient. That information is protected by federal law (HIPAA) and described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which is also available at the front desk.
4. What this website collects
The clinic does not ask for or collect personal information through this website. It has no contact forms, accounts or sign-ups, sets no cookies, and does not store anything in your browser.
Like every website, this one is delivered by a hosting provider whose servers automatically receive the technical details any browser sends when it loads a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. The hosting provider processes and may keep these server logs for security, abuse prevention and reliability under its own privacy policy and retention schedule. The clinic does not receive these logs in the ordinary course, does not use them to identify visitors, and does not combine them with any health information.
5. Please do not send medical details online
This website is not a secure channel for health information. Please do not send symptoms, diagnoses, medications or other medical details by email, social media or any other online message. To discuss your health, call the clinic or come in during open hours. For a medical emergency, call 911.
6. When you call the number on this website
Calling is not the same as browsing. Our scheduling line is answered by an automated (AI) assistant that can answer general questions, book appointments and take messages. It is run for us by an outside company under a written business associate agreement, and the calls are recorded and transcribed so we have an accurate record of what was arranged. The assistant says so at the start of the call, and you can ask for a person at any time or call the front desk directly during open hours on (321) 751-1414.
How the clinic handles health information you give us by phone or in person is covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this website policy.
7. Links to other websites
This site links to websites we do not operate, including Google Maps (for directions), Facebook, Instagram and the Designs for Health supplement dispensary. Nothing from those services is loaded until you click a link. Once you leave this site, the other website's own privacy policy applies. Our outbound links are set so that the destination is not told which page of ours you came from.
8. We do not sell or share your information
This website collects no personal information, so there is nothing to sell or share. The clinic does not sell patient information.
9. Children
This website is for a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
10. Changes to this policy
