How Suboxone treatment works
Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) combines FDA-approved medication such as Suboxone with ongoing clinical care to treat opioid use disorder. Suboxone reduces cravings and withdrawal symptoms, and MAT is the most evidence-based approach available for reducing withdrawal, cravings and the risk of overdose.
What to expect
Dr. Wolfington reviews your history, talks through your goals, and decides on a starting plan with you. Follow-up visits monitor your progress and adjust care as needed.
- New patient opioid use disorder evaluation
- Suboxone induction and dosing management
- Ongoing MAT follow-up visits
- A private, judgment-free consultation
Telemedicine MAT visits may be available at the standard telemedicine rate, subject to federal and state prescribing rules.
