Walk-ins welcome
Medical weight lossMedically Supervised Weight Loss in Melbourne, FL
Medical weight loss starts with a doctor's evaluation, not a diet plan. Dr. Wolfington looks at your history, your goals and your lab results, checks for medical problems that can make weight harder to lose, such as thyroid disease or insulin resistance, and builds a plan with you.

- First step
- A consultation visit
- Price
- From $100 for the consultation
- Supervised by
- Dr. Michael Wolfington, D.O.
Who it may help
- You have tried several diets but cannot keep the weight off
- Your weight is affecting your blood pressure, blood sugar, joints or sleep
- You have been told you are pre-diabetic or have metabolic syndrome
- You feel constantly tired
- You want a supervised approach beyond "eat less, move more"
What the program can include
- Lab work to look for thyroid problems, hormonal imbalances or insulin resistance that may be working against you
- GLP-1 receptor agonist medications: prescription medications that reduce appetite and help regulate blood sugar. Whether one is right for you, which medication, and what it costs are discussed at your visit.
- Lifestyle counseling and a plan built around your health and goals
- Ongoing check-ins to monitor your progress and adjust the plan
Safety and expectations
Individual results vary, and no particular amount of weight loss is promised. Prescription weight-loss medications are not right for everyone: the doctor reviews your health history, current medications and possible side effects before anything is prescribed.
